SIBLINGS TOGETHER CHARITY QUILT
Well done to the women who came along and made a fabulous quilt for the charity ‘Siblings Together’. We’ll be doing more charity quilt days in the future so keep an eye out for dates if you’d like to join in.
CHANGE IN OPENING HOURS
As of the 1st September, we will no longer be staying open late on Thursday evenings. Instead we will be closing at 5pm, the same as Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Saturday times will stay the same 10am – 4pm.
A reminder that our sale will start this Saturday 9th – Saturday 16th, inclusive. All bolt ends and Christmas fabric will be £8.50/meter and Wadding packs will be reduced, as well as various other reductions. So, come along and grab a bargain!
Jelly Roll fun day
Second date for a jelly roll fun day – Saturday 27th August, 10:15 – 3:30pm. As before, if you’re using a Jelly roll you bought from us, the day’s fun is completely free. Otherwise, it’s £10 for the day. Patterns and inspiration provided.
Charity Quilt day
And a second charity quilt day – Saturday 13th August, 10:15 – 3:30pm. Come along and help us make another quilt for ‘Siblings Together’.
PAPER PIECING CLUB
7 -9pm, Thursdays 1st, 15th & 29th September, 13th & 27th October, 10th & 24th November, 2016. £35 for seven sessions.
Our friendly and relaxed paper piecing club will start up again on the 1st September. There are seven session which run fortnightly. Bring your own project or we can help you chose a project and we can make up paper pieces for you if you prefer not to hand cut your own. No experience necessary.
The new list of classes for Autumn 2016 is now out and places are already booking up! We’ve got some exciting new classes, some old favourites and the next block of paper piecing club dates. Have a look at our ‘Classes and Workshops’ page for details and descriptions/photos of the projects.
Well done to the ‘Sampler Quilt’ class participants! It was, admittedly, patchwork bootcamp but everyone rose magnificently to the challenge and produced stunning blocks – well done everyone! Just got to add the sashing ….. but here are some of the beautiful finished blocks:

Many ranges will be included in the sale, along with popular classics like Kaffe Fassett and Batiks. There will be up to 40% off on selected ranges with up to 30%, 20% and 10% off many others.
All but the latest ranges of jelly rolls, bali pops and other precuts will be included in the sale and there will be a bargain box of bolts.
The sale will run until Friday 8th January, then it will be back to normal on Saturday 9th, so don’t miss your chance to pick up a great bargain!

New Bali Pops and Batiks.
The new Bali pops have now arrived and they’re gorgeous! Just incase anyone likes Bali pops. There’s also lovely new batiks on the bolt. This time we’ve also got some beautiful solid/plain batik Bali pops and snaps (5″ squares) – they look like rainbows!

Naomi’s indoor market this Saturday.
This Saturday Naomi Crowely will have a wee indoor market in the shop selling hand made tweed bags and gifts, perfect for Christmas presents, so pop along to the shop this Saturday if you’d like to have a look. Naomi will also have a stall at Stockbridge market every Sunday until Christmas, if you are interested.
January Sale and Christmas opening times.
Edinburgh Patchwork will be closed over Christmas from 22nd December until 1st January, inclusive. We will open on the 2nd January with a huge and exciting sale which will last for the week. There will be up to 40% off on selected ranges – last year’s sale was such fun with loads of great bargains.
