New ‘Scandinavia’ bundles by Oakshott!

We’ve been busy here in the shop, not only sewing but also processing lovely deliveries of fabric, not least the beautiful and sumptuous Oakshott cotton. It’s a dream to work with, and I’ve been using it with batiks and other fabrics (it goes well with everything) and is really great for paper piecing. We’ve got a bunch of new jewel-like colours, replacements for popular colours that have sold out and…..delectable fat 8th and fat 1/4 bundles of the new ‘Scandinavia’ range!

The shop is bursting with exuberant colour and pattern, so come along, try one of our new green teas, have a chat, show us what you are working on and immerse yourself in a bit of colour therapy.

Hi there, I am in Edinburgh for the Military Tattoo as my partner is the manager of the NZ Police Pipe Band. I cannot wait to come to your store. I am wanting to know the cost for William Morris fabric, also do you have tartan fabric -the Cameron Clan fabric as wanting to include in a quilt, many thanks Fiona

    • Hi Fiona,

I’ll look forward to meeting you in August. The William Morris fabric is £13.00 per meter and we also have Jelly Rolls (£35) and charm packs (£12.00). I’m afraid we don’t stock tartan, only fabric for patchwork and quilting but you will easily find a shop in Edinburgh that will have a large selection of tartans.
I hope that helps, best wishes, Ali
